Sandy Denny was a crucial player in contemporising British Folk music as the 1960’s bled into the 1970’s. A songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, it was Sandy’s soaring vocals that really set her apart. Her tragically short, eleven year career produced a trove of material, both as a band member and as a solo performer. She was considered the pre-eminent British folk singer in her day. I hope the show is both informative, and most of all, enjoyable.
